Lisbon’s beautiful urban decay

As I was walking through Bairro Alto today from a morning spent in Estoril, a seaside suburb of Lisbon, I saw this beautiful graffiti. There is something poignant about the fragile plant fighting its way out of the wall and the melancholic face of the drawn figure. A captivating example of urban decay. What I love about Lisbon are the many surprises its streets hold.

Sounds like a great way to spend the day. Wandering the streets of the city with camera in hand.
